I love it when I can draw at night while listening to my favorite music.
What is my idea of perfect happiness?
Work wiseI’m very happy when I have total creative freedomwhile getting paid really well in the process!

Not getting paid.
What is the trait that I most deplore in myself?
When I procrastinate too much and then the end result is me staying up all night trying to get work done while crying.
Which living persons in my profession do I most admire?
Hayao Miyazaki.
What is my greatest extravagance?
Trying to make a living as an artist.
On what occasion would I lie?
For a good cause.
What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work?
Impossible deadlines.
When and where was I the happiest, in my work?

I’d like to be faster!

The fact that I get to do this for a living at all.

The Sempione Park in Milan, very early in the morning.

Under an old tree in the Sempione Park.

Art books and “The Autobiography of a Yogi”, by ParamahansaYoganandaThey helped me to expand my mind.
Who are my favorite writers?
I’m very much into books about spirituality.

Pinocchio.
Who are my heroes and heroines in real life?
Plumbers.

All Fellini’s movies, and more then once.

The same role as air, I couldn’t live without it (literally – I don’tknow any other way to make a living!).

Myself.
