My latest animated short, "HOBLIO - The Path to Freedom”, has been selected to be screened at Inshort Film Festival 2018 in Lagos, Nigeria.

HOBLIO”, has already been awarded the Short Film Best Animation for Children prize at the Anifest Rofaza International Film Festival 2014 of Shkodra, Albania, the Best Animation Shortfilm for Kids prize at The Kids Festival 2015, an Honorable Mention at Anim!Arte International Animation Festival 2014 of Curitiba, Brazil, Best Animated Film of the Year prize at Hollywood Festival 2016 of Madrid, Best Animated Short at Aahān International Short Film Festival 2016, First Price at Cortocircuito - Savigliano Film Festival 2016, Best Animated Short at Los Angeles CineFest 2016, and Best Animated Short at European Film Festival (Mainstream & Underground) 2016 of Moskow, Russian Federation,  Best Animation at Ferfilm Festival 2016 of Ferizaj, Kosovo, People’s Choice Award at RATMA 2016, Keighley, UK, the Certificate of Award at Madhouse Movies Film Festival 2017 in the U.S.A., Best Animated Short Film at Global India International Film Festival 2018 in India.

La Linea meets Motorino (Gibba 2014)

Gibba (Francesco Maurizio Guido, Alassio 18 December 1924, Albenga 7 October 2018) a real pioneer of Italian animation.

I want to remember him with his delightful contribution to "Viva Cavandoli!", an exhibition about La Linea and his creator Osvaldo Cavandoli organized by Musil Brescia in 2015, of which I have been one of the curators.

I am very happy to be part of the organization of the European Heritage Exhibition that will take place in Pancevo, Serbia, October 2 - 12, 2018.

The event, organized by Nova Festival, will feature the work of 42 illustrators and cartoonists from 25 countries on the theme of European Cultural Heritage.

Sono molto felice di far parte dell'organizzazione dell' European Heritage Exhibition che avrà luogo a Pancevo, Serbia, dal 2 al 12 ottobre 2018.

L'evento, organizzato da Nova Festival, presenterà le opere di 42 illustratori e cartoonist provenienti da 42 Paesi, sul tema dell'Eredità Culturale Europea.

During a visit at the new Studio Bozzetto & Co. in Milan, I had the pleasure of meeting the legendary superheroes Minivip and Supervip,  straight from the 1968 full-length animated feature "VIP: My Brother Superman", directed by Bruno Bozzetto.
